Plot is nothing to write home about it’s a standard late 90s violent crime thriller á la Tarantino.

However the setups are great with a lot of very interesting wide shots and editing.  The characters are all very fun and “quirky”, we spend a lot of the movie with them just talking about nothing. Costume design is a big highlight.

Man Japanese cinema has always aced developing unique characters. I loved this movie so much. It was so fun and entertaining to watch. Just the atmosphere alone was so amazing. Reminded me of Takashi Miike films.
