While caring for his sick daughter, a doctor is called away to the sickbed of a neighbor. He finds the neighbor gravely ill, and ignores his wife's pleas to come home and care for his own daughter, who has taken a turn for the worse.

Kinda didn't pay attention to this that much loved that panning shot I think it's called. Wasn't enough Mary Pickford tho :( loved to see Florence Lawrence tho the first major film star, who I've never checked out any work until now so yep
