Not the traditional stalk-and-slash flick I was expecting, but I’m so happy cos this was a gag! Super shocked that the budget for this was ~1.1 million in $ cos it looks so polished in terms of cinematography and lighting. Very on par with bigger budget films like sorority row and Friday the 13th (2009). Really loved the atmosphere in this and the score really elevated it (need the score on Spotify ASAP). The only reason this isn’t 5 stars is because the third act/ending is a bit too confusing and rushed, but everything that came before was a gag!

well. disappointing sadly. i love this genre, but the issue is that in most of these movies, and i've watched A LOT of them, they always seem to.. rush through the stuff that's actually important for the story and give you some boring ass moments instead, which leads to twists not being developed fully, so when something finally happens you don't even care bc the plot points weren't introduced well in the first place. and that's exactly the case here. i'm probably doing too much brain gymnastics for a low budget slasher but if just a bit more thought & effort were put into this, i genuinely believe this could've been ACTUALLY good bc the ideas are good !! but oh well. it is what it is
