"i became an insect"
even as a fujoshi, i actually do watch these for the plot and artistic merit ☝🏻🤓 but the sex scenes were good regardless; well choreographed and erotic where they could have just been pornographic (yes, i'm aware of what i'm watching).
all that to say, it is – for the most part – a disappointing watch. i was hoping for something more grotesque and less cruel, and even then it's so noncommittal to its own cruelty.
