i was hoping for some really fun 90s thriller energy, but instead got whatever this was. alicia silverstone was a massive positive (and also the sole reason i watched this film to begin with) and also the fantasy sequences were a decent concept (just failed in execution massively). this movie tries to critique the ‘male gaze’, but just ends up partaking in it. it’s just 90 minutes of weird men fantasising about having sex with alicia silverstone, and feels more like a jumble of badly shot, exploitative clips that have not aged very well, at all. also just super trashy plus pretentious, and not in a good way.
