This felt so suffocating to watch and you could feel the hopelessness. The violence is brutal, it is gratuitous. The second half on the other hand takes a backseat as far as the violence is concerned but it becomes even more cruel, as the danger shifts to political games and corruption.


The performances were all phenomenal and by the time the credits roll, theres a hard punch to the gut. There are no happy endings, heroes, or just space to breathe.

honestly speechless this film was so raw, brilliant and painful. the amount of times my face was all strained and eyes half closed because it was uncomfortable- but needed. whole time watching this with bated breath, not knowing what was gonna happen next. should have got a bloody oscar no shit.
