Like many movies dealing with the aftermath of a friendship that was once but feels like it never was, Take Care of My Cat follows a meandering plot of a group of girls after high school. While I would prefer a much stronger, cohesive plot, life is anything but the mundane. There's nothing really exciting or crazy that happens when friendship falls apart and there doesn't need to be anything exciting or crazy to bring new friendships together.
I think as someone who has drifted away from certain friends, I thought I'd relate more to this movie but the meandering plot where certain things are sort of unresolved just couldn't hook me but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate what the spirit of the film is about.
