It’s crazy how the guy with 11 rings doesn’t win the nomination

This is how my friend and I spent election night when the polls got too stressful. Also, love knowing that even in the goddamn 60s, it all rested upon Pennsylvania.

A hidden gem of political drama written by Gore Vidal, focusing on a brokered political party convention and the backroom conflict between two candidates played wonderfully by Henry Fonda and Cliff Robertson. If you're interested in politics, this is definitely one of the best movies out there about it. Someone really needs to do a Blu-ray of this, because even the copy in the TCM airing from last night is DVD quality. Really deserves to be seen.
