Finally I got to watch another Kore Eda after a long break, and wow.
After the storm is a story of different lives, it's about family, career, and dreams. This movie is so full of quotes, considering they are at the presence of a failed novelist. I mean it just shows life and how truly simple its complexities are. The dreams are yet to happen but in the way a person works to achieve it, the dream has already happened. Truly a wonderful experience watching this film, it made me warm and slightly different from who I am before.
