Anytime you depict someone taking their own life it’s visceral. It’s horrible because you know how much pain and how dark of a place they are in to get to that point. The show in this movie takes that and uses it for ratings. It shows humanity and lack of humanity. It started off as something to help people, but then became a how can we get someone who is going to kill themselves in a cool way. Not going to lie I teared up during this. My big problem with it is there is a movie that came out in 2007 called Live! It’s basically this movie, but it’s a game show where contestants play Russian Roulette.
