Dr. Feinstone escapes from the mental hospital where he has been held ever since his wife's adultery sent him on a deranged killing spree. Hoping to resume a normal life, he makes his way to a quiet Midwestern town and establishes himself in a new practice under an assumed name. Things are starting to look up for Dr. 'Caine' – that is, until the day he catches his new love in the arms of someone else. As before, the impact of romantic betrayal sends him over the edge into madness and murder, with his unfortunate patients once again bearing the brunt of his hostility.

so i had given the 1st one a watch yesterday and enjoyed it quite a bit and saw that there was a sequel to this film so today i had decided that i should give this one a watch and see if it’s just as good as the first or if it’s terrible and so i did just that and i’ve got to say that like this first one this one also started off extremely slow and boring at the beginning and i thought that just like the first one it was gonna start to pick up midway through but i was so wrong because nothing happened until the end of this film and there was times where i would tell myself that i should just stop watching it because of how uninterested i was while watching it and also at times i’d be scrolling on my phone from boredom but luckily i pulled through til the very end because i will say that in this one there was so very little kills in it and even then those didn’t help save this film for me because 3 of them were fast kills and then the 4th one was one that was bloody but also we don’t see the victim die until we see her lifeless body show up again on screen so there’s that but i will say that the one thing i did like in this one was the little chase/fight sequence between the dentist and the final girl at the end because i did like how she managed to put up a little fight at the end even though the dentist did up living at the end despite how he was literally shot so many times with a nail gun but some how miraculously survived all them shots so i’d have to say that this one certainly did not live up to the original at all for me.
