The ending is very good and pretty horrifying. The best part of the movie is on the Island. It first didn’t quite make sense to me but it made all came together by the end.But I don’t have a whole lot to say about it, just a good movie.

Now i feel like I've said the before in another review, but Zhang Yimou is good at making movies, especially pretty ones. This is no exception, as it looks very good.
The story was interesting and i liked both the beginning and end. The mid section if the movie is where most of my issues lie. Cause there were definitely moments that seemed a bit long and uninterested. And it doesn't help that I didn't really care for the characters, so some scenes definitely felt quite boring
But there are some great moments in this and i do at the end of the day like it. However it's not as good as many of his other movies I've seen so far and even at its best, it isn't as good as some of the others
