Nine high school kids celebrate graduation at a secluded home in the wilderness. They fight, philander, and feel nostalgic as they embark on a life away from home, in college. Once the party dies down they play a game: Dead Body. But when one party-goer takes the game too far, actually murdering the other guests one by one, it's up to the group to set aside their tensions, and ferret out the murderer before it's too late.

Well Bodies Bodies Bodies obviously “copied” this movie.
But seriously, this was bad. Bad acting, bad writing, bad story. None of the acting was believable and they didn’t receive any help from the script. It was just a bunch of unlikable teens in a friend group that had zero cohesion. Like do any of these people actually like each other. Even our final girl Ilsa was objectively a bad person who lacks communication skills and uses people to get what she wants. Dominic invites her to this cabin and instead of saying “No thanks Dominic, I wouldn’t be comfortable at a cabin with just us two and your two foreign exchange students.” She invites 5 other people along to a cabin that is not hers, one of the people is a one night stand that she is pretending is her boyfriend, all to not have to be alone with Dom while still getting to use the cabin. Not to mention that she invites someone who she is actually interested in, but still uses this other guy as her “boyfriend.” Sorry, I just actively dislike Ilsa. In terms of the story I thought the killer was pretty obvious. I wasn’t able to pick up on the motive, but it never crossed my mind that this person might not be the killer. Even when they throw a scene in there to eliminate him as a suspect I was still set on him. Very predictable. I will say that this is a rare move that starts out terrible, but ends decent. I really did enjoy the last 20-30 minutes and the killer monologue.
Also, why is the poster for this movie, on Tubi, a board game box with cards and dice. There is no mention of board games, card games, or dice games in this movie

I swear this makes no sense. They start playing Dead Body, but they never like draw cards or slips of paper or whatever, so who is supposed to be the murderer in their game? Then, they've established that they turn the lights off for one minute while the murderer does his murdering and then after the minute, they reconvene in the living room and discuss and vote on who the murderer is. Instead, they turn off one lamp in the living room, don't keep track of time, and never discuss anything. I get that them playing Dead Body is just a lead into the actual murders, but these mother fuckers have no idea how to play. Also, there is no chemistry between any of the duos that are supposed to have it; the only sexual tension is between the ex and his weird friend Rumor (an odd choice for a male character), I know that those two were hooking up at some point. The story was basic, the kills were lame, it looked like every other straight-to-DVD horror movie, the characters are all wholly unlikable, the blood effects were bad, and the mystery was unsatisfying. The acting was just mostly fine and there was some good humor (most of it was pretty bad), but there isn't anything here to make the movie worth it.

homeboy did all of this just so his ass could get into fucking harvard like that was such an awful motive not to mention he did to because he wanted to “be the best at everything”

I REALLY liked this movie. I love the concept of everyone turning on each other. I also LOVE a long killer monologue for the final girl. I kind of knew what was going to happen and who the killer was but that's because I go through every possibility....but REALLY GOOD and the perfect amount of gore.
