It wasn’t the worst movie I’ve seen centered around a teen with a terminal illness but I thought the accents weren’t that good and the chemistry between the love interests not that good either

i dont get why they made this movie american…. both the leads are british, make it a british movie?? like, asa butterfield just has a VERY english face, sorry! or they couldve at least made his character british too …

also was he adopted? he looked nothing like his family. close to the ending he and his brother were face to face and i was just thinking: no way in hell are they trying to pass these two strangers off as siblings. they’re both european looking, yes, but one’s ancestors are from the cobbled streets of london, sipping earl grey tea, while the other one’s great grandparents probably swam in the ionian sea, picking olives from an olive tree. idk i might just not have been paying enough attention
