There's Always Tomorrow
Norma and Cliff are really cute together, but I stopped liking them when she said that he had a reason to betray his wife, whom he had been married to for 20 years, with the most unbelievable excuses, just because she wasn’t there for him for two days because of THEIR OWN kids, and because the kids weren’t with him all the time or saying they loved him every moment, even though it was clear they did. For me, he is even worse for throwing away 20 years of a happy marriage just because she couldn’t be there for two situations. For me, he never really loved his wife. Sorry, not my style

There's Always Tomorrow
“Love is a very reckless thing. Maybe it isn't even a good thing. When you're young and in love, nothing matters except your own satisfaction. The tragic thing about growing older is that you can't be quite as reckless anymore.”

There’s Always Tomorrow is my second Douglas Sirk film and stars two of my favorite actors of the time, Barbara Stanwyck and Fred MacMurray. I really loved this film. So many beautiful shots and great story of how out of control love can be. Both Stanwyck and MacMurray are great and it’s not the first film I’ve seen where both of them shared the screen. I saw Remember the Night in December and it became one of my new favorite Christmas films. I can say I don’t think I’ll ever get old of seeing these two on screen. There’s Always Tomorrow was a stellar film and definitely one I could watch again in the future.
