Raw and intriguing, Kirot is a promising entry from the world of Israeli cinema. Though thematically interesting and kinda cool (who doesn't love to see two women kick arse and hold their own in a man's world), Kirot really doesn't rise above cliche, nor does it ever feel more than a little soap-opera-ish. Here's hoping that Olga will one day appear in a film that rises above mediocre (fingers crossed for The Water Diviner).
