“This is just great! We got Jason upstairs and Cujo in the front yard!”
So when I reviewed Child In The Night I mentioned that I had a strong sense I had watched it before. Well there was another made for tv movie I had some memories of and I was wondering if I would ever rediscover it. I read the plot of this and a sense of familiarity comes across. And now that I finished this I can say that yes, this is the movie that I remembered! That ending definitely jogged my memory big time!
Can’t remember what I thought as a five year old, but watching this now I say it’s a good effective thriller, almost plays out like a Tales From The Crypt episode. Even surprised to find out this was Frank Darabont’s directorial debut, dang following this up with The Shawshank Redemption, that’s impressive!
And yeah I was watching these at 5, even remember watching the original IT around that time too. Don’t remember if my mom let me or didn’t know I was watching these with her, but hey I turned out fine!

I saw this movie for the first time in 2000 with my best friend at the time. It was so hilarious to us then so I wanted to watch it again. It was funny still but made me miss him.
