The writing is just gripping. The way the story kept me in a lock made more curious how many twists and turns can there be.
Early Coen bros were something else.

I’ve been wanting to watch this for over a year and I wish I watched it sooner. Easily a top 3 Coen brothers film and one of the best mob films I’ve seen. The only thing I didn’t really like was that John Turturro wasn’t in it that much because all of his scenes were amazing and I think the two scenes he was begging not to die was probably the best acting performance that he’s done in his career.
