Drags a bit in the middle but the opening and the third act make this movie worth watching. Some fun experimentation from Roeg and Hackman is Hackman of course.

It’s a bit grainy. But like bad quality wise. Could use a remaster.you’re kidding me. I just watched the new world yesterday and they use the exact same song. das rheingold vorspiel. What a funny coincidence. I don’t even know what’s happening. So that wasn’t a dream. I’m very very confused of what just happened. This was initially a rated x movie??? I guess I could see why with that once scene. Also terrible court scene. She would’ve been stopped in a second of talking. I’m so confused. He found gold. Was that not his gold? Whatever. It was ok. Great beginning but then it kinda went all over the place

Opening half hour is as good as gets and the ending poem into credits hits nearly as hard as Walkabout's. More than worth slogging through one of the more excruciating courtroom scenes that I can think of.
