Im very conflicted with this movie because I really enjoyed the story but as a movie it has lot of problems. First off I will say that Christopher Severio's performance was incredible. But the beginning was way to fast and the end was incredibly drawn out. The flashing from before and after his death was too distracting and akward and the effect desired wasn't worth the payoff that was given. This movie was able to get a lot of emotion from me but if his death wasnt spoiled and unbelievably drawn out it would have hit a lot harder. The mothers acting was really poor to me which also took away from that scene. It really disappointed me to see such a good story be presented so poorly in my eyes. But the story and Severio's acting does carry the rating this time.

One of my favorite movies of all time, Neil McDonough is spectacular in this. But there are a few glaring problems, being some really janky dialogue and writing. But otherwise, it's pretty dang good.
