Recently I was on a stoned gambol and stopped in a book store. No one was in there except for Charles Fleischer doing a signing with his way too young "assistant" and his AI art. He, of course, started pitching me on his book. Specifically said I'd like it if I liked Murakami and weed. Anyways...
I was just complaining about torture porn being crammed into a movie but this is an example where a pretty obnoxious and ugly macguffin horror is plussed up by going way too gory. Some familiar faces, too. Just really dogshit editing so I can’t be too kind.
