istg this movie is going to resonate so deeply with anyone who has ever been in a long-distance relationship or anyone who has big dreams. it gets so complicated at first but i’m glad garret didn’t take the selfish way out. im glad he remembered what erin said about not wanting to lose her dream over a stupid relationship and in the end, he literally moves to los angeles just to be closer to her T—T he really fought for their relationship, like he actually put in the work….
and imo garret isn't even the type to overdo it…. like, he gets jealous but never in a toxic way, he loves erin so much it hurts. he flies out to san francisco to see her over and over again, even though it’s literally on the other side of the country from new york. he lets her take that job because he doesn't want her to live with any regrets. idk if their relationship is toxic or not to some peoples but i still want this kind of relationship so bad…… i wish i had my own garret……….
