there were so many heartbreaking moments in this movie as well as happy moments which made it so interesting, i think it shows some hardships of modern life really well and i loved the main character. However it also left some questions unanswered and maybe one day ill watch the 4 hour cut to see if i can discover their answer. It did have stretches of long moments but i feel like that's a staple of shunji iwai’s movies which may or may not be a good thing at times
