A very fascinating film. It’s not your usual murder mystery film but rather a strange blend of a satire and a black comedy, it’s full of absurd elements and some decently funny moments. The characters are very odd, they all have a weirdly calm view on the murders that are committed around them. Visually the film is stunning, combining symmetry and very striking colours to give the film a very unique and isolating atmosphere. The humour is very dead-pan and quite dark, this works very well with the strange story behind all of the characters. I will admit that I was expecting more from this. I felt slightly disappointed with about an hour left of the film, but that last third really brought it all together and ended the film on quite an interesting note. I did end up enjoying the film, although I was expecting more from it.
