If what you hate about Scooby Doo is the spooky mansions, creepy mysteries and crooks in convincing ghost costumes - I.e.  the things that make Scooby Doo great - then good news! All of that is over in the first 20 minutes! There's no time for all that anyway, what with superheroes, bowling pin robots, a burgeoning Hanna Barbara multiverse that dies on the vine, and Simon Cowell.

Both stars I've given are for Frank Welker’s voice work. The character of Scooby Doo is still spot on, but he's surrounded by mediocrity. I appreciate what Will Forte is doing, but he sounds too much like, well, Will Forte. We've really been spoiled with Matthew Lillard. The rest of the Scooby Gang are bland nothing burgers, despite liking all the actors outside of this. Shame.

“DID YOU SAY IKEA?”

I find it kinda hilarious this movie was an attempt to set up a Hanna Barbera cinematic universe for god knows what reason

Also why was Dastardly trying to frame Simon Cowell for his crimes? Of all people to pin your crimes on why chose him to frame!? 😭
