Shot over a three-year period with unparalleled intimacy and access, ALL THIS PANIC is a feature length documentary that takes an intimate look at the interior lives of a group of teenage girls as they come of age in Brooklyn. A potent mix of vivid portraiture and vérité, we follow the girls as they navigate the ephemeral and fleeting transition between childhood and adulthood.

Randomly found this doc on Prime Video and decided to watch it.
I'm not going to give All This Panic a rating as I truly don't feel like I can relate to it. Sure, I was once a kid growing up through high school, but girls have a much different experience from guys. I'm glad that this film is very uncensored and that for the sake of clarity these girls were willing to share a lot of this information. They're very open and real which you don't see often in many intimate documentaries like this. Some of the things they say and do during the doc are a little questionable and I hope it didn't have a negative impact on their futures.
It's well shot and well edited, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't bored at any point during this. Again, I'm sure that's because I can't fully relate to these experiences and being an adult now I'm tired of hearing about teen drama.
If you're the target demographic of this film then you will definitely enjoy it.
