Ugh, this movie was so good! My only real complaint is that the parents got a bit too much screen time. I understand they play an important role in the story, but this is really about Milan... and I wish we could’ve seen more of him and Christophe together.

Nevertheless, the ending was great. It’s so good to see them back on solid terms, though I’m still holding out hope that they eventually become lovers!

It’s hard for character driven scripts, mostly based on story development and little plot, to get by without some really strong and interesting character arc, charismatic cast and relatable/likeable lead.

All I can say about this movie is that none of those things here fail completely, nor are they nicely executed, instead they fall flat and ordinarily amidst a pile of similar teenage identity crisis drama. And that’s the problem with this movie; how forgettable and unremarkable it is, in spite of it having a solid cast and an appealing drama.
