Meat Grinder

I watched this when I was 12.Not for the gore — though there was plenty.But for the way it carved into my brain something far more disturbing than violence:what trauma can do to a woman…and what men are capable of doing to create that trauma.

This isn’t just a horror movie.It’s a psychological scream, an echo of generational abuse, desperation, and feminine breakdown wrapped in the guise of cannibal cinema.And while the horror community might talk about its blood, what truly lingered with me wasn’t the meat —It was the emotionless eyes of a woman who’d been shattered too many times to remember softness.

She’s not the villain.She’s the aftermath.

This film is one of the reasons I don’t — can’t — trust easily.One of the reasons I don’t do dating.Because this isn’t fiction to me.This is just a few broken steps away from someone’s reality.

And I’ve never unlearned the lesson.

I remember trying to find this movie  for a while since I’ve heard it’s name floating about in forums…

Just my luck, that I managed to find both versions - the censored Thai version and the longer uncut (uncensored) version 

Of course to get the full experience, I’m watching the uncensored version… 

It seems the theme of human flesh inside food is kinda common in Asian horror films and I’m not sure how to feel about that but too late now I guess 

It can’t be worse then Dumplings

I mean it was worse in terms of quality… pretty boring my with not much happening for the majority of the film and the actual film looks like it was shot with a Nokia brick 💀

In terms of graphic content - dumplings beats it so hard,,, as much as I despise that film. I have massive respect for it
