I loved this!!!
Seeing as I’ve seen all of his English works I’m now delving into whatever I can get my hands on and normally I expect earlier works to be interesting while lacking or missing some element that they have refined, but here I just saw all of Yorgos’ strengths rolled up into one intimate small story. I understand this is lowly scored but obnoxiously I’m going to say most low scores are from people who think ‘weird’ is a genuine critique and others who think being uncomfortable isn’t allowed a place in stories. I’m curious how I’ll score this film when I watch it again in the future, it may get close to meeting Kinds of Kindness as my favourite of Yorgos’ work.
