all this talk at the beginning about struggling to find a story to tell really highlights the biggest issue with the sequel trilogy. it’s like disney wanted to make a star wars movie by 2015 so they had to make up a story for it, not because someone had a story they wanted to tell but because disney wanted a star wars movie.
i like that they included jj abrams kind of mentally preparing daisy ridley and john boyega for what‘s to come to make sure they know what they’re signing up for, if they really want to do this and if they feel supported. especially when you consider how much hate hayden christensen got for his role in the prequels back in the early 2000s.
overall, pretty average behind-the-scenes documentary but at least we got more of adam driver in comparison to the other two documentaries.
