Who nose how this film finished as I fell asleep. Apart from the two bored teenage girls, every other character felt like a caricature.

This is fine. Tamara Drewe looks and is shot like a studio comedy and there are moments were it tries to be more than that. There are more moments where I feel like that works and there are moments where it feels very much like a studio comedy. The cast do great with a movie that doesn’t know what it wants to be. Tamara Drewe is a movie that is entertaining on the surface, but once you dig deep into you find a movie confused about it’s identity.

an absolute mess but great for background noise, because it feels like it goes on forever. earliest role ive ever seen jessica barden in and the similarities between her character in this and in ‘The End Of The F***ing World’ are endless so i enjoyed that aspect. The climax gives off a very similar vibe to ‘Greed’ but the rest of the film is just a drawn out disappointment.
