I know next to nothing about Bob Dylan, so my experience with I'm Not There was mostly confusion mixed with some cool music. I imagine that if I knew more about Dylan and his life, this film would make a lot more sense, but I can appreciate the non-linear storytelling and great performances from the cast, especially Cate Blanchett and Marcus Carl Franklin (I definitely wasn't expecting David Cross to be in here, but he wasn't unwelcome). I liked the bits I could understand; all in all I think I should do some research, and come back to this at a later date, so I can follow and appreciate it better.
