this is kinda like school of rock but worse and made me feel horribly embarrassed to watch whenever he was fumbling with the ball
i enjoyed it generally speaking, it was cute. not cute enough for me to entirely forgive those few questionable lines or scenes or that END, but cute enough for me to pretend i didnt see them
this is at least just more evidence as to why hugh dancy sticks to tv rather than film 😭 maybe l&o isnt that bad afterall

you know what. this much exceeded my expectations. truly not as bad as everyone made it out to be! was it good? no, it wasn't. but it was fun. i have watched some really unbearable movies and this was not even close. this gets a whole star just for the ending

i honestly don't understand why this movie is rated so low. sure, it's not the BEST thing i've ever seen. it's a pretty average feel-good romcom, but it nails the formula perfectly. plus, i won't even lie, i was pretty emotional about the hector plot by the end. i probably won't ever rewatch this movie, but it was so sweet :')
