I don't know why I put myself through this. Whenever I start a franchise, I must make sure that I watch every film from it and start hating it or getting bored to the point I question why I even do this.
Godzilla vs Megalon is just one of the films that the producers were forced to put in theatre because there had to be a Godzilla film every year since the original came out.
The biggest sin Godzilla vs Megalon pulls is that Godzilla is barely in the film, instead the whole plot revolves around Jet Jaguar, an android created by one of the protagonists to battle Megalon; a monster sent by the people of Seatopia who were fed up with surface dwellers.
The world of Seatopia looks great though and the creatures were well-designed. Ofcourse, the plot was still paper thin and the villains didn't really seem the interesting.
