I can see the vision and I kind of felt it. But it's also soooo incredibly slowly paced, that it just drags on and on and on. Very very little actions or dialogue. At times it's just 1 minute of them going into the distance.
Edit: Just reading the plot summary online is so crazy to me and makes me respect the movie more in a way. With this first watch I didn't quite get the two time dimensions of modern society Vs this traditional one and shakibs struggle with leadership and Saids and Ahmed's original intentions of just robbing some money. It makes sense-ish.
The landscape and shots are so beautiful, it's crazy.
Shakib is one the oddest and funniest characters I have witnessed in a long time. Love that goofball. Just one hell of a commited taxi driver, ey?
