Interesting idea, dreadful execution.
High school theatre productions have better acting! Looks like a 1990's interactive movie game. They seemingly got their costumes from Wish, and their makeup artists too!
It changes some fundimental things. And then, unsatisfyingly, doesn't pay them off.
A single star for Doug. He is a star, even in this galaxy of shit.

This was actually so awful holy shit. It’s everything that the 2024 Nosferatu is not. This film does not feel like a professionally made film in the slightest. It feels like a bunch of D and F list actors got together in front of a green screen to make a film!! The only nice thing I can say is that at least they tried. It’s just genuinely such a massive downgrade from Egger’s picture it’s frankly embarrassing. The constant use of green screen really baffled me. This feels like a movie people would get when they buy a pirated copy of egger’s film. Just woah.

Es un ejercicio de estilo interesante y Doug Jones siempre contará con mis simpatías, pero a diferencia de la de Eggers esta no deja de ser un calco hiper-digitalizado de la original solo que con diálogo, actuaciones normalitas y un resultado final que la verdad no aporta demasiado a lo ya hecho más allá de la curiosidad que pueda suscitar la recreación escena a escena. La lastra que en ocasiones da más sensación de estar viendo un fan-film... uno muy bien hecho, pero...
