I watched this for my CWP class, and I didn't realize how divided the opinions are on this documentary. It did take me off guard how anti-union it is. I understand that the documentary covers education reform, but it failed to mention the role of race in a child's ability to get a proper education.

Watched this for my ElEd class. Yet another reason why I should move back to Canada to be a teacher. I really don’t think that teachers being incompetent is the root of why the American Public School System sucks as much as it does. And sending everyone to private schools won’t make it any better.

I watched it for an extra credit assignment for a class and it was basically exactly as good as you would expect that to be. It was an interesting subject that nearly everyone should be invested in and the structure was fine but it was shot fairly blandly and the production wasn't all that impressive. It held my interest, but didn't enthrall me or impress me.
