It was fine and then the ending happened what the fvck who approved this movie there were so many steps in the making of this film where somebody could have said no the ending is legitimately awful why are we making it
no cuz why did she have a cute drummer boyfriend who is obviously better for her then the guy who was liking her sister I wonder who was thinking that making her end up with the guy who like her sister is the correct way to end this movie also isn't the entire concept very dystopian if they can know your soulmate what else do they know about you just by giving you the timer and has anybody ever read the terms and conditions of this device it's like a black mirror thing what the I can't even it's awful also if I was the sister I would never let them live this down never and I would go for the drumer guy he is very cute
Just to finish things off is that the mom from Liv and Maddie cuz that's a random side quest
Just remembered I also don't agree with it cuz like you just have to accept that there is a device that knows everything about you to determine your soulmate and that you have a soulmate and no matter who you would like you personally it's not your soulmate because the device knows better than you that's a bunch of bullshit

I’ve found my go-to answer of a film with a great premise that warrants a remake. Considering the modern dating landscape, this feels like a more timely story now than when it was made. While I didn’t love the ending, I’m not with the rest of the reviews claiming it undermines itself. Like, not really - my issue is following 2 characters and having one get sidelined so much to deliver them a pretty, unfair conclusion. Not bad, it’s cute but yea…let’s remake it.
