Brothers is a little strange, very dark, and pretty much what I expected from Robert Eggers. I can definitely relate to the sinking feeling of accidentally hitting a sibling and immediately panicking, as well as the babying of the younger sibling. This is probably the closest to a modern day film we'll ever get from Eggers, and though I wouldn't necessarily rewatch it, it's interesting and I'm glad I gave it a go.
