Featuring great performances from the 2 main leads and a well-structured script, "Film Stars Don't Die in Liverpool" was an engaging watch that kept me interested in the life of Gloria Grahame during her final years. The script has great dialogue and the banter between characters doesn't feel repetitive and forced. The score fits the movie well and I wasn't ever bored. It does get a bit drawn out towards the end but I'm still disappointed that I missed this at the film festival last year.
