A man living in rural Wisconsin takes care of his bed-ridden mother, who is very domineering and teaches him that all women are evil. After she dies, he misses her, and a year later digs her up and takes her home. He learns about taxidermy and begins robbing graves to get materials to patch her up, and inevitably begins looking for fresher sources of materials. Based loosely on the true story of Ed Gein.

"I can trust her, she’s fat!"
Deranged es la primera peli que me veo totalmente en inglés a falta de subtítulos en español (claramente) y estuvo relativamente bien.
Obvio no son los mejores efectos especiales y siempre será delicado hacer películas inspiradas en un caso real, más cuando se trata de asesinos, saqueadores de tumbas y enfermos mentales con una fuerte obsesión hacia sus madres pero en general estuvo bien.
Deranged es la primera peli que me veo totalmente en inglés a falta de subtítulos en español (claramente) y estuvo relativamente bien.
Obvio no son los mejores efectos especiales y siempre será delicado hacer películas inspiradas en un caso real, más cuando se trata de asesinos, saqueadores de tumbas y enfermos mentales con una fuerte obsesión hacia sus madres pero en general estuvo bien.

Yeah, don't watch it if you are high, I do not recommend it. Totally fucking terrifying shit, I got really creeped out at times.

This is a much better take on Ed Gein’s story. While it has a few flaws, it stays true to the original events and doesn’t drift too far off course. The problem with the new Monsters Ed Gein show is that it tries to retell the same story with too many theories and forced twists, making it feel cluttered and confusing. They should’ve done what this film did, stick close to the real story, add a few personal touches, and avoid turning it into an entirely new tale.
Highly recommend this film, it’s a good watch for Halloween season as well.
