Went in expecting a basic old slasher but instead got a great surreal horror about the effects of childhood abuse and a man fighting over control of his mind.
Really feel like this is ahead of it’s time with the style of the torture and killings Donald commits, quite sick and brutal.
The amosphere is very eerie and some scenes pretty disturbing, some inspiration clearly taken from Psycho but still felt very fresh.
Definetly and underrated early horror overlooked by the slasher craze of it’s time.
