Am I the only one concerned how he was falling in love with someone who he thought was 12 up until the final two minutes? To be fair, Ginger Rogers is absolutely stunning in this film. The Major and the Minor is a pretty cute film nonetheless, releasing only 3 years before Wilder’s Best Picture winner, The Lost Weekend also starring Ray Milland. While this film isn’t well known compared to many of Wilder’s all time classics, The Major and the Minor is still a very fun watch and a great film.
