My Bloody Valentine may not be a great film, in fact I was laughing at how bad the acting and the writing in this is. But it’s also so much fun, with gruesome kills. I love the overall vibe of this film, it’s one of those cozy horror films that is a must watch when the holiday comes near.

My Bloody Valentine is pure slasher comfort. It’s gritty, small-town horror done right, with a surprisingly good atmosphere and some creative kills. The mining setting gives it a unique edge, and the tension actually builds instead of relying only on gore. One of the better slashers from that era.

Mas adoro o fato de que Hollywood perpetuou o "esteriótipo" de "adolescente burro" desde sempre, até porque as burrices feitas aqui não são metade do que eles com certeza fariam na vida real.
