#11/100 Horror Movies in 92 Days 2025
"Call in the flamethrowers."
Silly business but quite endearing really. Alien rip off for sure but kind of reminded me of Halloween III near the end too. Takes it's time in the second act to do much of anything but the last half an hour is fun, especially when we finally meet the alien Cyclops.
If you like lots of schlocky gore and your entire movie to be dubbed regardless of what language the cast were probably speaking, then do I have a movie for you.
It's called Demons by Lamberto Bava, but if you've already seen that then give this one a go, I guess?

there’s some cool individual scenes in here but I was deeply uninterested by most of what was going on. the repetitive sound the eggs make is rage inducing.

To be flat out it’s alien but make it Italian and set it in America. Off rip quite interesting but it never really clicks much together besides interesting premises and pieces to an unsolved puzzle. There’s a great aspect of the camera being a fly on the wall, lots of creeping with it and shots from behind walls even up top in corners which I love. Backed by an awesome score it really does have a vibe, just an incoherent one that never can get itself together totally but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have one. It’s just a crazy one. Intriguing but not fulfilling watch.
