Might bump this up another half star on a rewatch but man this was so much fun! It's a Prom Night movie, but it's also a little bit Exorcist, a lot bit Carrie, plus there's zombies and possession and the longest (at that time) fire suit stunt - 6 seconds - and Micheal Ironside! A new fave for sure.

Hello Mary Lou: prom night 2 is a massive shit fest but in a good way. The films slasher elements ditches the slasher genre for the supernatural as it goes full Carrie and nightmare on elm street. For as cheesy 80s horror films goes this is definitely one of the most enjoyable.
