Love Exposure reminded of how much I used to enjoy seeking out weird and disgusting Japanese films and how long it's been since I've indulged.
I didn't have very high expectations for a movie as gory as this one but I was very positively suprised.
There's actually a lot of very inspired cinematography, editing and lighting. The VHS quality also helped make it a little easier on the stomach without outright censoring all the fun parts
