I’m divided on how I feel about this one. I’m not exactly an avid fan of cult/satanic films, but thought I’d give this a go.
The acting is quite atrocious, apart from the likes of Sophie Dalah, with dialogue to match. It begins to rev up in the last forty-five minutes, so having patience really helped me find some positives. The practical effects are solid, as well as the creation of a tense atmosphere.
The ending is meh, and could have been extended upon as it felt a little rushed. Overall, on the same par as ‘Tarot’, but not as bad as some reviews that are giving it half a star.
