Premonition
(watched for sept 4 (newspaper carrier day) of my "a horror movie a day keeps the demons away" marathon)

while this isn't one of my 'favorites' from the spate of mid-2000s japanese horror films i watched as a teenager on youtuber, and definitely drags a bit through the middle of the film, i've always appreciated the vulnerable and raw way hideki acts throughout the film, as it differs so much from the 'stoic dad' figure we so commonly see in horror films
