"Hey, watch Independence Day for me, will ya?" A friend asked, after her planned screening at her Fourth of July party was washed out by a series of rather strong thunderstorms. Mission... uh...
There's always a level of frustration when the people who keep the lights on at the Asylum seemingly make a competent if not boring film. This is one of those examples. I actually like some bits of this; the CGI looks... competent, especially compared to films like 500 MPH Storm. Plot-wise it's a bit dull, the United States taking the lead in negotiating with and eventually fighting the generic Orion alien species. Again, I said competent if not boring. You usually watch these because they can be funny; this is not. Would maybe be something under a different title and a more experienced director.

A lot of things happened in such a short period of time. The movie also gave information that could’ve helped us understand the character’s backstory but it’s just there. They should’ve gave it more time and not for all of it to happen so fast.
